A little about me
Aug 03, 2020I'm a wife, mom, homeschooler, and piano teacher based in Florida.
Music has always been a huge passion in my life. I started playing piano when I was 4 and eventually led me to go to Florida State University College of Music with a concentration in piano.
Many years ago, a mentor asked me what my dream was. I told them that I wanted to impact people through music and educate as many people as I could to pursue their dream with music.
So, I set out on that journey.
In 1996 (almost 25 years ago!) I took on my first piano student. Since then I've helped over 500 people from ages 2-76 further their piano skills.
I haven't looked back since.
Of course, that's not the whole story.
There has been great pain, fear, and setback over the years coupled with many breakthroughs and amazing things that have happened.
I’m here to encourage you because maybe like me, you've felt alone. Maybe you're confused or struggle with helping your kids (or yourself) feel impassioned to pursue your creative gift of music.
Whether you're a working parent, homeschooler, CEO, or aspiring artist—this is a place for people in pursuit of fulfilling their dream in God. And I hope to walk along with you and encourage you in any way I can.
I believe every person's story is significant and we all have a responsibility to steward the calling God has given us.
