How To Read Music Notes

Learning to read notes is like learning to read. You start learning your musical alphabet (A - B - C - D - E - F - G). You then learn the differences between treble clef and bass clef. After that comes (Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge), FACE, (Good Boys Do Fine Always) and (All Cows Eat Grass). You are then well on your way to learning the notes on the staff.

Learning the notes in music is SO important. Sure you can learn to play by ear and just copy songs from youtube tutorials, but this will severely limit how far you can go in piano. You might have a couple of quick wins, but then you will hit a plateau and not be able to progress further.
